Chalk drifted in the air. Micha coughed as she struggled to clean the chalkboard by herself.
Stupid Mr. Benenati. Teachers weren’t supposed to yell at the kids. Or make one kid clean the whole classroom by herself just because she tried to stop him from petting the little kids.
Worst part was that no one listened to Micha. Not the principle, not her moms, not even her friend Rain’s parents were listening to them anymore.
Everyone took Mr. Benenati’s side against Micha.
She was stuck with no power to stop Mr. Benenati from hurting the little kids. If only someone would understand that she had to help.
Schrodinger’s Choice is a SF slice of life story that asks how we empower those around us that queer people are sure to remember for years.
