Stav blew out a breath as he stopped just shy of the crest of the hill. The Riinder Mountains stretched towards the sky around them, sheer rock faces high above.

Heavy ledges of snow drifts loomed, threatening to sweep down to exterminate him, Nov and Ori. His guides leading him to a cold year in the distant, cold, lonely Barwegen Monsastery.
